Bye bye Blogspot

Facebook has came out with its Notes application which is much more user friendly and a one stop point to maintain my blog and friends network website. So i am moving my blog to Facebook...bye bye Blogspot.

Monday Blue

I am proud to be Malaysia and proud to me

I used to be a typical Malaysian, i always complain about my own country and think that others are superior.

I thought Petronas Twin Tower is a waste of money for a developing country like us until i realized that people around the world recognize Malaysia in the world map because of this building.

I used to think that MAS is a total failure until i tried other airlines. MAS has the best hospitality and friendliest air crews, one of the best entertainment and food...i mean out of all flight food.

I used to think that PLUS highway toll is too expensive. Although now i still think that the government should take over it, our PLUS highway has the best and straight road condition, and with R&R stops along the way and along Peninsular Malaysia.

I used to think only Malaysians who don't queue at LRT station. Actually, people don't queue in Singapore and London too haha. And their subway is crammed like sardine and stinks too. At least we still queue at certain stations like Kelana Jaya and KLCC haha.

I used to think that Proton is the worst car ever producted until i realized other brands (not all) has the same defects too. And not all people in overseas own a car because they don't have cheap cars to buy. I am trying to think positively for this one hehe.

But there are also things that i think Malaysians should change.
First thing, the way we drive and cut queue. Driving is a challenge in Malaysia; even if you don't drive recklessly, others do. Second, i hope Malaysians should learn to say "thank you", at least for cashiers.

Lastly, feel proud of ourselves and appreciate our home country.

Exciting experience in Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico...the first thing i can think of is pretty girls
That remains a fact until now

My first 2 days in Puerto Rico were full of excitement.
First, was the propeller ride which was pretty much like flying carpet, going up and down.

Then...uninvited guests at Costa Del Sol
2 strangers knocked at my door when i was alone in the apartment.
It made me recall of the robbery happened 2 years ago, which was so scary.
I was tied up and robbed. Still have phobia when someone knock at the door.
Sincerely appreciate my collegues who offered me an accompany and even a night stay at their place.

The next day, some of us got stucked in the lift at 8th floor.
First time in my life.
And we got to climb out from the lift with a big hole waiting for anyone to fall.
Phew....scary!!!

Next,...Mazda 3 but left hand drive

I get to drive Mazda 3 which has more power than my MyVi of course hehe.
But i have problems like going to the wrong side of driver's seat, turn on vipers instead of signal and not used to the direction the vipers wipe haha...kinda weird

No Espanol?
Ya, no Espanol but learning a few basic words.
Pollo = chicken
Salida = Exit
Entre = Enter
Oeste = West
(I spent about an hour, running few rounds between 2 blocks of building trying to figure out the West block. Will remember this word forever haha)

And lastly, i got my first Coach bag hehe

It's time to leave Barbados

This will be my last weekend in Barbados.
I have been here for 1 month plus and it's time to bid good bye to this beautiful island.

Frankly speaking, I have never thought of what kind of places would that be at the other end of this earth from Malaysia. I think i will never come here if not because of work and i will never come back once i leave....air fare is super expensive $$$$

Something that i will miss about Barbados.....
Sky blue sea and icy cold water

Caribbean Chicken and Jacket Potato that i must eat again before i leave

Close to 900 photos taken throughout my stay in Barbados and they captured every moment i have here. Next destination....Puerto Rico!

Bad experience at mamak

I travelled by bus back to SP and reached there about 5am. Not wanted to wake my mum up early in the morning, I headed to P*l*t* Mamak which opens 24 hours.

2 hours to 7am, so I decided to work on my things which have piled up like mountain over the weeks. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not allow diners to use laptops; reason being laptops consume electricity. I offered them that I will pay as I consume, but the answer was still no. Well, I actually argued with them and other customers were watching the drama which was fast reaching the peak. Noticing something wasn’t right; one of the staffs then offered that I can use their power point to charge my laptop for 15 minutes. So I used my precious battery for work and used the remaining battery to write this blog. In return, I ordered teh ais, limau ais and roti canai bawang. I do not want them to make a lost with me ordering a glass of drinks and sitting there for 2 hours.

Let me make a fair comment on this, I do not blame them for not providing a WiFi or power point to the customers although many restaurants and café are providing the service. But I think the restaurant should look at how their competitors react to the market trends. After all, my comments are for their business’s sake.
