Experiment: Nestum Prawn

I know it is another busy weekend for me.
I am having my first UAT session on Monday....
But i still managed to squeeze some time to try out on new dish.

Since it was for experiment purpose, i used medium sized prawns will do...hehe
I marinated the prawns with a bit of soya sauce.

Bought Nestum

and Planta.
And the result, my experimental Nestum prawns.
Erm...the mixture of margerine and Nestum smells nice.
But it was too filling for me....put too much margerine.
The prawns should not be marinated with soya sauce, may be can try lemon next time.
And add a bit of chilies to fry the prawn with strong fire.
Overall comment, not nice....

Make a wish

It is super hard to wait for meteor and make a wish.

Alternatively, this is what i always did when i was in Uni.

A friend told me that if the bus ticket number has a total of 21, then i can make a wish and it will come true.

Since then, the first thing to do after paying the fare is to add up the ticket number.

And BINGO!
I got it.
5+7+2+7 = 21 haha!

But this time, i want to dedicate this wish to dear dear.
I hope his wish will come true
......because his wish is my wish too wakaka

Earth Hour 2008

I came across this campaign in Sin Chew Daily.
Earth Hour 2008 aims fto increase public awareness on global warming.
On the 29th March 8pm, millions of people from all around the day will participate in this drive and turn of the lights for 1 hour.

Being curious, i checked out on this website http://www.earthhour.org/

Hm....so what can i do??
Easy...turn off all my lights at home this Saturday from 8 to 9 at night.

What should i do within this 1 hour?
Easiest way--> sleep
Of course not!
I am planning for something fun and memorable to do with dear.

Some ideas in my mind:
Watch DVD at home with chips? ordinary idea....

Candle light dinner at home would be perfect! But i have no new recipes....

Watching stars would be even a better idea!
Or go Kampung Kuantan see fire flies? Nowadays always rains...what a risk

Camping? er...i seems very attractive to mosquitos and insects

Watch KL night view? FYI, our Petronas Twin Towers are not participating in this drive...

Let me continue to think for better ideas...

All work and no play makes me a dull girl

Besides cooking, singing and cleaning the house, my last and best way to release tension is to shop haha.

Although i have 2 pages of to-do list, i sneaked out from my busy life and went shopping with my sis. We went to Pavillion, Sg Wang, Low Yat and Time Square. Frankly speaking, shopping with bear bear not that nice because he is not "wallkable" and 'shopable".

Guess what, this is my first time to Pavillion.
Erm...nice place, but too high class for a girl like me to shop in those branded-branded outlets.
So in the end, we just had our lunch there in Food Republic.

Food Republic's (the one in Singapore) Hokkien style fried noodle is very nice....so we ordered the same dish here.
But it was a dissapoinment....Price is the same, we paid SGD3.5 when we had it in SG and paid RM7.00 in MY. Taste?? Lack...So it was a disspointment for us.
(The pic above taken in SG. I didn't take photo for MY because my sis finds me irritating snapping here and there hehe)

Then we walked to Sg Wang. Result: bought a shirt, 1 pair of earings, 1 pair of shoes

Then we walked to Low Yat. Result: CD covers

Finally we walked to Time Square. Result: bought 1 shirt

All the things bought are not in the to-buy list....too bad.
But after shopping, i am no longer a dull girl.

So tomorrow can continue work!
No work = no money.
No money = no shopping.
No shopping = a dull me.....

watermelon juice

I bought quarter of watermelon from the night market...the price is so clear written there hehe

Hm....how come there is a number "2" sticked there?
Actually my mum won this in a lucky draw, and i stole it from her.
Got watermelon, got blender....of course i wanna make watermelon juice loh.

Then unforseen ciscumstances happened.
This is not watermelon juice ler.....
I accidentally cut my finger :(

I also hope i dun have to put this photo but a photo of bear bear sucking my bleeding finger
(just like the dramas always show haha)
ppl say life is like drama....not same at all la!

Ok, things were under control.
and the result....100% pure watermelon juice
the taste??
er....not as nice as the shop's.
may be too original and no sugar added kua....
but with rm2.50 i can make glasses of watermelon juice
...this time with my finger cut hehe

Big girl dun cry, big guy...i dunno

To be frank...i am glad being a girl because tears are my weapon.
Whenever i am going to lose in argument, i will cry....then surprisingly i will win haha.

But how long can a girl cries to win over something?
As a girl grows up to become a lady....acting "manja-manja" is still a sure win weapon.
But how long can this weapon last if she never develop proper brain and a considerate heart?

When a lady is getting older, "pretty" and "cute" are no longer suitable comments.
Of course, "manja-manja" and crying strategy are out of mind.
A woman needs to use brain for a resonable victory and to win it with pride.

I am wondering how guys win over something when they were kids.
Coz most of the time, they sure lost one loh....

Imperfect Me

I admit i am not perfect and there are always things that you can complain about me.

I used to feel sad and cried over these comments.
I also thought of to bag you to me fair to me.
Of course, out of my anger, i also thought of throwing back comments about you.

But soon i realize i was so stupid.
The easiest way is to close my ears.
Don't worry, i will not comment back on you.
When a stone hit ur foot, do you kick the stone back? The same theory applies.

I respect you as an elderly. I am also sure you "have eaten more salt than i eat rice".
Show more wisdom so that i can respect not just because of your age.

Fattening yet slimming weekend

Hm....it was another fattening weekend for me....too bad
Bear is back and he was craving for local food so much.
So, we went for claypot curry at Kota D'sara.
Well, personally i think it is nicer than the one i had in Kepong.

Then we had steamboat at home.
Steamboat at home is the best as you can have all the ingredients of your choice.
And most importantly, no one disturb hehe :P

The most fattening dish was Kayu Nasi Kandar.
It costs me RM15 man!!
I took sotong, chicken, nasi briyani....
After eating this, i need Eno Eno.....and burp....excuse me

Ok, done with the food search, we started to search for speakers.
Remember i spoilt bear's speakers.....he spoilt my earphone too.
He put his hand on the earphone and it was crushed into crumbs.
I use "earphone" without 's' because only 1 side was spoilt.
Another side was spoilt by me long long time ago.

Out of so many brands...i finally decided to by Edifier C3 speakers.
A huge set, but the sound is Umph!!!
It cost RM399....broke but satisfied.

So, the neighbours can hear me singing again haha.
With 4 balck boxes, the speakers are a bit plain....
So i put my "solar shake shake" thingy on top of it.
